What’s not to love about being an Irish Wedding Photographer.

I married an Irish lady so I’ve been lucky enough to attend many Irish weddings of friends and families. I’ve also been booked by a number of couples to photograph their Irish Weddings.

If you’ve found yourself on this page chances are you are planning a wedding in Ireland. It’s really hard to put into words what makes an Irish wedding so special. I think it’s cultural, no nationality knows how to celebrate quite like the Irish. Weddings in Ireland are always full of love, laughter and fun so I’m not surprised you’ve chosen to get married in Ireland.

Some of the most fun weddings I have photographed were in Ireland, the party is always the best and you’ll see from my wedding photography that I love to photograph a great party. A lot of Irish Wedding photographers leave after the first dance which I think is a real shame as the party, often a cèilidh is when guests are most relaxed so it offers a unique opportunity to capture so much joy and fun that translates into variant wedding photography. Some couples are apprehensive about having the party photographed, they tell me they are worried people will not want their photograph taken singing or dancing, please be assured I always photograph everyone tastefully. Some of my best memories as a wedding photographer are from Irish weddings. I remember one bride, Sally, playing the bodhran at her wedding in Ballybeg House to photographing Zoe and Joe’s Winter wedding in Waterford Castle which has to be one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the world.
