When it comes to choosing a wedding venue in Wales there so many gems and no shortage of choice from incredible castles to an opulent chateau to stately manor houses to rustic barns. I’ve been lucky enough to visit some stunning wedding venues in Wales including Château Rhianfa, Tower Hill Barns, Plas Glansevin, Bodysgallen Hall and Spa, Soughton Hall, Hensol Castle, The Margam Orangery and Craig Y Nos Castle.
Some of my fondest memories as a Wales Wedding Photographer are from Helen and Gavin’s wedding. Helen and Gavin live in Hong Kong where Gavin is a professional rugby player. They returned to home to Wales to get married on Helen’s family farm in Chepstow in Wales. The ceremony was held at St Thomas a Beckett Church followed by a Tipi reception back at Helen’s parents farm. The scenery was stunning and the atmosphere was electric. This Welsh wedding included everything I love about weddings – friends and family coming together to celebrate the bride of groom with lots of love and laughter. Helen and Gavin were a joy to work with and I am truly grateful they chose me to be their Wales wedding photographer.
