“Thank you for all our amazing photos”
2018 kicked off with one of my favourite venues in the UK, it was so good starting my season as an Eastnor Castle Wedding Photographer.
Sam & Lynnea are top Aussie ladies. Completely chilled out, down to earth and we literally didn’t stop smiling and laughing all day. I’ve been lucky enough to document several same-sex weddings and they are an absolute joy to witness and be involved in.
With the new year just welcomed in, their Winter Wedding was the perfect time of year for a castle wedding. I love the beautiful contrast between the cold blue outside light and warm orange glow inside from the roaring open fires.
One of my favourite memories from Sam and Lynnea’s same-sex wedding was their first look at the top of the great Staircase Hall. Then walking down together to meet their respective parents.
The ceremony was held in the Gothic Drawing Room, such a beautiful room full of grandeur and opulence. The little page boys handing over the rings almost on time, so many lovely little touches.
In the evening we were in for a treat. Sam’s brother is the UK’s firework champion (MLE Pyrotechnics), so we all went outside onto the Upper Terrace, wrapped in blankets fighting the bitterly cold weather. The firework and laser display was just incredible, I’ve seen a few displays in my career as a Cotswolds wedding photographer, but this one was one of the best I’ve seen.
I have to give huge thanks to my second shooter, Aga Tomaszek. Below are a few favs from us both.
