I have to pinch myself, most of the time. This particular Lake Como Wedding left me overwhelmed with happiness and love.

Krystina and Phil are no strangers to me, I first met them at Cheryl and Tom’s Tuscany Wedding in 2015. I sent 4 days with everyone there so you get to know people pretty well in a short intense scenario like a wedding. Upon leaving Tuscany Krystina told me that I’d be hearing from her soon as they were planning their own Lake Como Wedding. Long story short, I was delighting when I booked their own Italian wedding in Lake Como.

With arms raw from all the pinching I arrived in Tremezzo in the early hours of Monday morning only to find out my hotel was closed! Another long story short, I contacted Phil (who was still out drinking next door) kicked out one of his mates from his hotel room so I could get a good nights sleep.

Spending the next 4 days with Krystina and Phil on their Italy Wedding was like hanging out with mates, I’d met several of them before so there was plenty of laughs and it genuinely didn’t feel like work. Again I was pinching myself until I was blue all over. I am so so lucky to have amazing clients like this.

Wedding Preparation – Villa Mirabella

Day 1 and 3 will be on a seperate blog. This post starts off on the actual Lake Como wedding day, at  Villa Mirabella. A total hoot spending 4 hours with the ladies getting ready with all the excitment of the big day.

Villa Carlotta – The Wedding Ceremony

With Krystina looking absolutely stunning, we all piled into a multi seater and took the 2 min ride to Villa Carlotta.

Truly the only way to experience the magnificence of Lake Como is from the lake itself. I was so grateful to share the Venetian boat ride with the couple. It was like a magazine shoot!

What an incredile location for a Lake Como Wedding reception. And what a way to arrive, by speed boat!

The speeches were something else, full of heart felt emotion, tears and laughs all round. Phil, you were a trooper!

After the cake cutting it was down into the Cave for the dancing, and boy did that go off!

Thank you Krystina and Phil from the bottom of my heart. You guys, your family, friends and your fabulous Lake Como Wedding was breath-taking. You made Alex and I so welcome. Big shout out to Alex Beckett for coming along and helping out on this one. Not only did he take some awesome drone shots, work his arse off, but he didn”t complain when I said we had to share a bed on the first night!
