Seriously epic wedding with one small disappointment.
I’m joking, but I was hoping to find monkeys on Monkey Island! When Emily and Carlos contacted me earlier in the the year about their London wedding I got really excited when they said they were having their day on Monkey Island. As hard as I looked I couldn’t find them, but I did fine several peacocks.
Emily got ready at their home in Windsor, it was a hive or activity with family and friends coming and going all adding to the excitment.
With temperatures hitting 30 degs it was nice to get to the relative cool of the church. A beautiful ceremony and a chilled out vicar allowing us to capture everything we needed.
It was an honour to have 2 good friends helping out on the day, Rahul Khona second shooting and Ross Holkham assisting. Below was some favs from Rahul and I.
Off to the church
It’s GO TIME !!
River Cruise
After the ceremony we took a stroll to the Long Walk at Windsor but it proved too hot so after a few photos we went to join the other guest down at the river Thames. The Georgian boat took us on a lovely cruise down river for over an hour to Monkey Island.
Monkey Island
It was the most fantastic day, perfect for a cold beer, lawn games, afternoon tea, crazy dancing and some fun portraits.
