This was a wedding of firsts for me.
My first Sikh Wedding and a new record of my largest wedding, 400 guests!!
Ranu & Gurjit are super chilled out guys, a wedding of this size would have me stressed to the nines, but not theses guys. Took it all in their stride, even the 3am wake up call for hair and makeup call didn’t phase Ranu at all.
This wedding was incredible, full of traditions, colour, laughter and dance.
I would like to thank Ranu & Gurjit for asking me to document their wedding photography. Also big thanks to Jon Pride for coming all the way from Germany to help shoot this huge wedding with me. And to Dan for assisting and driving, top job my friend.
Below are a few favourites from the 7,000 frames Jon and I took on this 17 hour mega wedding.
Wedding Portaits
Ranu & Gurjit choose the beautiful University of Birmingham Botanical Gardens for their wedding portraits. Also known as Winterbourne House & Gardens.
Wedding Reception
With the portraits and the home coming ceremony done we arrived at The National Motorcycle Museum for their wedding reception. Ranu and 14 of her friends did an surprise Bollywood dance for Gurjit, it was fantastic.
