I’ve know Andy for about a year, I knew he was a photographer, and a bloody good one at that. Then he told me he was getting married, and he wanted me to shoot it!
So after I stopped hyperventilating I talked to him about the day. Nothing big he told me (he’s too modest and nice), just 200 people, Jewish wedding, at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London.
We shot for 18 hours on their wedding day, it honestly felt like 10 as the day was just incredible, so much going on and a party to end all parties. How Andy survived the Israeli dancing is beyond me, I was just feet away trying to capture it all as he was being tossed 15′ into the air.
I just want to thank Rachel and Andy for trusting in me to capture your epic Jewish Wedding. Big thanks go to my team, Dan Bold for second shooting and Earl Ferguson for assisting. Thanks so much guys, your were awesome!
