A very special Christmas wedding from Ireland. What a way to finish my 2012 wedding season. Shooting my brother-in-law (to-be) wedding in Ireland. No pressure!
Far from it, this was an amazing wedding. It all started off at Jean’s parents house in Dublin, most of the family came over at some point and was a hive of excitement and noise, I loved it.
This wedding was made extra special as well as my little boy, Jacob was to be pageboy. It was a real effort not to photograph him all day as it was the only time I’d seen him without a super hero t-shirt on for months (that lasted until 4pm when the shirt came off and Batman was hiding underneath).
Anyway, back to the wedding, the church was in the middle of no where, a little place called Ballynure, Co Wicklow. With the formalities over we took off 5 mins further down the road to Rathsallagh House for the evening entertainment. This venue was stunning, amazing gardens and every room inside had Christmas cheer.
The party in the evening was something else, dancing made way for drinking, and drinking made way for more dancing, it was amazing! I packed my gear away at midnight and carried on with the party, it was an epic wedding and I hope you enjoy the photos.
