I’m sure that you’ll believe me when I say that Paris was the third-ranked most visited city in the world in 2017, with 16.1 million international visitors. Why’s that? Simply put, it’s the city of love.
Singles, couples, friends, and lovers flock to this magnificent European city with feelings of hope, excitement and joy. And for most couples in love, a Paris destination wedding is the definition of living out a fantasy! That is why I consider it an absolute dream whilst working as a Paris wedding photographer. A mere visit to the city alone is enough to inspire.
So where are some of the most popular wedding venues in this thriving city? As a Paris wedding photographer, I have found that The Le Meurice has proven to be a real favourite for engaged couples. Here, newlyweds have access to the royal suite which shows off 360 degree views, including that of the Louvre. This great venue also has a ‘Meurice in Love’ package that includes beauty and spa treatments for the big day.

The Hotel Plaza Athenee is another excellent choice and can be found on Avenue Montaigne with the ability to host up to 200 guests. With rooms that offer views of the Eiffel Tower, and the Michelin-starred restaurant, it goes without saying that this venue is not only capable of offering impeccable service, but also a modern and lavish wedding.
If you’re searching for a more natural setting outdoors, The Maison des Polytechniciens is a real winner, as it’s a private mansion with lots of open space, greenery, and beautiful terraces. Here, you can have around 250 guests for a sit-down dinner, and over 600 to enjoy a cocktail or two. Sound like a dream? For you and me, a Paris wedding photographer.
