Red barn wedding in Cleveland, Ohio

Seriously, OMG this was how I dreamt a USA wedding would be. My good friends Doug and Jackie flew me out to shoot Doug’s brothers wedding. When we spoke about it earlier in the year he was like “it’s in a friend’s old red timber barn, it’s during Fall in October, Brad will be driving his tractor, they’ll be cask beer, cigars, and the wedding will be outside in the woods.”

So roughly 20 seconds after that call I bought my flight! Doug and Jackie are wedding photographers, let me rephrase that, amazing wedding photographers, so there was no pressure then… much!

First stop, the salon, hanging out with the ladies. Then on to Rebecca’s parents home for make-up and then over to the barn where Rebecca put her dress on. The light was to die for. The ceremony was held literally a tractor drive away down the road and we experienced several trips on the back of it between pre and post wedding portraits. Great fun.

The barn was beautiful. Fairy lights everywhere and made the place look so magical. The evening just got better and better with the beer flowing and the dancing getting wilder, a perfect wedding, better than I imagined!
