As a Same-Sex wedding photographer I was thrilled when Richard & Steve booked me to photograph their wedding in Washington DC. This wedding was nothing short of amazing, the setting was stunning, Woodend is a 40-acre nature sanctuary given Audubon status. With meadows of wildflowers, amazing wildlife, deers wandering around and the autumnal colours all around, it was beautiful. Richard & Steve had their close friend Ryan as their celebrant who had specifically got ordained to carry out their ceremony, it was just magic!
More recently I had the honour of photographing Sam & Lynnea’s beautiful Same-Sex wedding at one of my favourite wedding venues in the world, Eastnor Castle. Sam & Lyenna were so much fun and grinning for ear to ear right through the day, the way it should be on everyone’s wedding day. In the evening they had the most spectacular firework and laser display I have ever seen and as a wedding photographer I have seen a lot over the past 10 years.
Here’s what Sam & Lynnea had to say about their wedding photography,
“Thank you for all our amazing photos. I’ll be honest we’ve found it a bit overwhelming and its taken a bit longer to get through them all, but it has been lovely remembering the day. We have gone through them now a couple of times but will spend many more hours pouring over them. There are some beautiful moments – we really wanted to capture our friends and family as much as us. You can hear the laughter and noise from the day.”
