There is something really special about Winter Weddings, I’ve been lucky enough to photograph winter weddings all over the world.

Many couples choose a winter wedding as rainy days and free falling snow makes everything seem gentler, cosier, and more relaxed – which is one out of many reasons why I love being a winter wedding photographer.

There was a time when the busiest time for weddings was during the summer but more and more I am working with couples who want a beautiful wedding wedding.

There was a time when the busiest time for weddings was during the summer but more and more I am working with couples who want a beautiful wedding wedding. One of my busiest times for weddings is between Christmas and New Year. I have been lucky enough to photograph winter weddings in the US, Ireland and throughout the UK.

I am regularly booked to photograph Winter Castle weddings, some of my favourite winter weddings have been at Miranda & Mark’s and Sam & Lynnea’s and Eastnor Castle. I have also had the pleasure of photographing Zoe & Joe’s stunning wedding in Waterford Castle in Ireland which was featured in the Irish Wedding Journal.

As a winter wedding photographer, I know that there are dozens of amazing cities that back the perfect backdrop for a  perfect winter weddings. Megeve in France is a snowcapped town that is yet to be touched by tourists. It holds a classical charm that simply is difficult to find anywhere else.

I also recommend Aspen in Colorado, a city famous for its ski slopes and snowboarding. And as a winter wedding photographer, one of my favourite venues for a beautiful ceremony is the Hotel Jerome. This hotel has a gorgeous rustic feel while still holding a sense of luxury.
